Some viewers not happy with Chris Brown

According to the New York Times "plenty of home viewers weren’t having it, and some chided Mr. Brown for usurping what was supposed to be an honor for Mr. Jackson." And this blog writer can be included in the crowd. But in an online poll by the LA Times around 25 percent thought "Chris was 100% faking a breakdown to get sympathy". Using the death of one of the greatest performers ever to live to regain popularity seems shady.

Washington Post blogger, Avis Thomas-Lester, is not drinking the Kool-Aid that Chris Brown is serving. Earlier today she said source "I'm not buying that Chris Brown was close enough to M.J. that the weepy breakdown during his performance of "Man in the Mirror" was real. I think it was contrived to elicit publicity and sympathy for prior wrongs". This in my opinion seems like a fair opinion especially according to CNN.com Brown has not done a lot to let his past concerning die " He's been a frequent social network user, often using services to either apologize or vent -- that is, when he wasn't leaving them entirely. (He quit Twitter late last year, only to rejoin in March.)". In my opinion it is a public relations nightmare for him to continue to ask forgiveness. But even Brown has several public figures who support him.

Nationally syndicated talk show host and comedian Rick Smiley has shown support for the embattled performer. Smiley tweeted earlier today, to the over 125,000 followers this message,"STUPID ASS BROAD ON HERE DOGGIN CHRIS!!! I CUSSED HER ASS OUT!! THAT SHIT OLD NEWS!! YOU AINT GOT A HEAVEN OR HELL TO PUT NOBODY IN!" in reference to some response gleaned by him in reference to someone speaking ill of Chris Brown.

In my opinion none of us have a heaven or hell to put anybody in, but we can look at Chris Brown's behavior preceding the BET awards. After the incident his train of thought seemed to be a little off to me even going so far to comparing himself to Tiger Woods source. Chris Brown the 21 year old performer has a lot to learn still, beating up on women is way different than cheating on your wife. One little breakdown on national television is a start in showing remorse but he still has a long way to go. Maybe he can get through half of his probation before the world is just supposed to start forgiving him.
